ORIGINAL POST Have you ever wondered how you can help fight racism here in Fairfield, CT? Now's your chance to get involved! We are assembling a squad ASAP to ensure that the information the Racial Equity & Justice Task Force spent over a year compiling is not only read by town residents but that the Board Of Selectmen incorporate these findings into the town charter that is set to be revised for the first time since 2006, almost 2 decades ago. The revision of the town charter won’t stop racism in its tracks but it is an imperative step toward reconciling our past in a genuine act that can help move us forward.
